Arkadii Kistanov

Arkadii is a Finn Class World and European Champion with extensive experience in high-level competitive sailing. As a coach, he has guided 29er sailors to World Championship titles and supported athletes across several boat classes to multiple European Championship medals.

He continues to coach internationally and plays a central role in shaping kTool around the real needs of sailors and coaches — from the questions they ask after a race to the information they need to improve.

Arkadii holds a Master's degree in Sport Science, a Master's degree in Financial Engineering, and a postgraduate qualification in Applied Management.

Vadim Vorobiev

Vadim is a physicist and data scientist with a research background in quantum optics and data analysis. He holds a PhD and works as a full-time research scientist at the University of Stuttgart.

At kTool, he develops the core data-analysis algorithms that transform raw sailing data into meaningful performance insights. His work provides the mathematical foundation behind the product and focuses on making complex analysis understandable and useful for sailors.

An amateur single-handed dinghy sailor himself, Vadim also tests kTool on the water and helps develop and validate new features.

Egor Kurnikov

Egor is a technology leader with experience building products used by millions of people, previously at Careem (Uber), Trust Wallet and Yandex.

At kTool, he leads technology and product development, translating complex sailing data and algorithms into a fast, intuitive experience for sailors and coaches.

His expertise spans product engineering, mobile, web and DevOps, and he is a co-creator of Kaspresso, an open-source Android UI testing framework. Egor holds a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science.

Artyom Murashov

Artyom is a software engineering leader with a background spanning mobile, backend, distributed systems and large-scale infrastructure, built at Delivery Hero, Careem (Uber) and Yandex, where he worked on systems serving millions of users, alongside experience in early-stage startups.

At kTool, he builds and scales the systems the product runs on, focusing on architecture, security and scalability so the infrastructure stays reliable as it grows.

Artyom holds a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering.

Daria Tikhomirova

Daria leads marketing and communications at kTool, bringing experience across social strategy, creative direction and content development in cultural, commercial and startup environments.

At kTool, she shapes the brand narrative and how the product is communicated to sailors and coaches around the world, from positioning and content to the way kTool's capabilities are presented.

Previously, she worked as an SMM Manager for Mastercard Russia and Universal Pictures. Outside kTool, she produces podcasts and has a strong interest in contemporary art.
